Situated by the Thames estuary there are many interesting things to see in a local flight from Southend. People are regularly amazed at the view across the water to Kent and the Medway estuary, up the Thames to Dartford crossing, or looking North towards East Anglia. Local people often say how despite living in the area for years they never realized what it really looks like. Popular ‘destinations’ depending on the length of lesson bought include the Dartford crossing, the reservoirs (Hanningfield etc.), Canterbury, Bradwell Bay and that popular place ‘my house’ (where possible).
