The building is a two hundred and thirty year old Grade II listed, Georgian property. In March 2008, after months of meticulous restoration the property opened as a four star, gold awarded Guest House. The Georgian building was back to its original splendour with restored covings, original fireplaces brought back to life and restored sash windows. We furnished the house with love and care, selecting piece by piece to connect our property with its history and to make it a unique experience for our guests. We chose the name Pier View, to honour our love for the town and its unique Pier which is the longest in the world. The splendour of the Pier is visible from our building. 
In March 2015, exactly seven years after opening as the only superior four star gold property, 
Pier View relaunched as Pier View self catering luxury apartments.

The property mixes original Georgian architecture with all the modern conveniences that are expected in today’s world. The Facilities, tastfully decorated apartments with luxurious cotton linen & bedding. Fully equipped kitchenette including dishwasher, combi-oven, induction hobs and fridge. There is also access to a laundry room with a washer dryer and the beautiful Guest Lounge with those magnificent views. Whether it be for business or leisure, Guests can be assured of a great stay in a unique property.

No lift Named after the Pier and property, this self-catering apartment is located at the top of the listed building with stunning views out towards the famous landmark, the cliffs and the estuary. The apartment has a double room with king size bed and an en-suite shower room, a dining room with panoramic views ( with tv) and a lounge with double sofa (en-suite) A fully equipped kitchen including an induction hob, dishwasher and fridge with ice box is also available.
